Current M&A Trends - In 2022, the M&A market has been very dynamic as companies look to grow revenues and market share. We will explore recent M&A trends and discuss what the deal landscape looks like for the upcoming year for both buyers and sellers.
Future of Work - Off the back of COVID-19, the Great Resignation is here to stay—with CEOs ranking a labor and skills shortage as the #1 external issue expected to influence or disrupt their business strategy in the next 12 months. All roads point to reimagining work with a tailored approach. While the forces may be similar across industries, the impact on people, their purpose, the work they do, and how they do it will be very different across sectors, businesses, and roles. In order to unlock on-going potential, it’s time for leaders to shift their thinking on talent and the very nature of work itself. We believe that begins with our ability to understand industries deeply, connect with their purpose, and see how each role and process serves organizations and the forces at play. To overcome the Great Resignation, it’s going to take a rethink, reshuffle, refocus, and reset to achieve the Great Reimagination. Organizations have an opportunity to become more human-centric, agile, resilient, and sustainable.
How ESG is changing business, moving markets, and driving regulation - The business landscape today has been transformed by climate change, a renewed focus on human capital, COVID-19, and changing expectations of the role of corporations. The shifts taking place today are among the crucial challenges of our time as we work to transition to a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient business world. This shift has had an impact across industries and can be felt and seen throughout the organization as it is integrated into strategy, operations, and reporting. ESG integration is an opportunity for companies to refine, protect, and create business value. To continue to thrive, companies need to build their resilience and enhance their license to operate through greater commitment to sustainable value creation that embraces the wider demands of people and the planet. The companies that hold themselves accountable to their stakeholders by increasing transparency will be more viable—and valuable—in the long term. Boards and C-suites that can get ahead of ESG disclosure regulation can build a business that meaningfully integrates ESG into its strategic planning and is better poised to manage risks, while also delivering shareholder value and increasing their organizations’ resiliency in a changed world.
Participants will be able to :
• Describe the current state of deal activity and how M&A transactions can contribute to company growth and liquidity.
• Explore insights on recent trends on the Great Reimagination in work, workforce, and workplace.
• Learn how they can prepare for the next iteration of the Future of Work.
• Define ESG impacts all areas of the business and how they can prepare now while finding new opportunities to create value.
