Nick is a managing director in the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) Group in the Investment Banking Division (IBD). He is responsible for advising a broad range of technology and information technology services companies on various transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-ons, high yield and investment grade financings, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, raid defense, recapitalizations, spin-offs, divestitures and corporate restructurings. He also served as business unit manager of the TMT Group from 2009 to 2010. Nick joined Goldman Sachs in 2007 as an associate and was named managing director in 2013.
Eklavya Saraf is Nasdaq’s Global Head of SPAC listings and a Managing Director of new listings. In his role, he advises companies on the process and benefits of listing on Nasdaq. Eklavya coaches early stage companies to leverage Nasdaq’s resources, and optimize financing opportunities and brand visibility. Eklavya helps develop Nasdaq’s relationships with investors, law firms, and other capital markets constituents. Some of Eklavya’s recent transactions include Royalty Pharma, Warner Music Group, PPD, Nikola Motor, Vroom and Peloton.
Brian has over 23 years of experience providing auditing and accounting services to large, complex clients, with a focus on professional services companies. Brian has extensive SEC-related experience, including transfers of interest, carve-outs, business combinations, recapitalizations, liquidations, initial and secondary public equity offerings, as well as public and private debt offerings. Brian leads our Greater Washington Accounting and Reporting Advisory practice, as well as our Transportation, Hospitality and Services Group in Greater Washington.
Mr. Cherian raised $100 million NASDAQ Listed SPAC for acquisitions in the Global Media & Entertainment sector targeting companies with Enterprise Values between $300 million - $600 million. He was CEO of two previous NASDAQ SPACs through the full Wall Street IPO process and creating hundreds of millions of dollars of public equity to invest in cross border transactions. Mr. Cherian brings deep capital markets, M&A, public/private equity, and management consulting expertise. He has expertise in all facets of capital investing, including raising, investment capital, sourcing and negotiating investments, building management teams, providing strategic guidance, and creating strategies to provide attractive returns. Mr. Cherian’s prior work experience with J.P. Morgan & Co., Director at KPMG LLP and Partner in Computer Sciences Corp. a Fortune 500 global information technology & services company spans 15 years in U.S., Europe, Middle East and South Asia.
As Chief Financial Officer, Jason Eustace oversees all Finance & Accounting for CuriosityStream. He has over 20 years of leadership experience and a record of achievement in financial planning and analysis in the media e-Commerce and retail industries. Prior to this role, he served as the Head of Finance for Bluemercury, Pet360 and Discovery Communications, US Networks, where he was responsible for accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning. He has a proven record of driving organizational effectiveness by discerning areas of financial and operational risk and implementing strategic changes to meet corporate objectives. Jason holds an MBA in Finance from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Siena College.
Patrick is a 25-year corporate finance veteran. He has founded and sold a company, been a Principle in a private equity fund, been an investment banker and an equity capital markets advisor.
As an ECM advisor, Patrick has assisted owners and managers in thinking through whether to enter the public markets, and how to potentially access those markets. Patrick has been involved with companies in technology, transportation, food & beverage, industrials, consumer, and other industries. He has assisted companies in Europe and North American, and with the US and Canadian Exchanges.
Madison Jones practices corporate and securities law, representing late-stage private and publicly traded companies and underwriters, with a particular emphasis on capital markets transactions within two of the most rapidly growing industries: technology and life sciences. She has extensive experience counseling clients on the full range of general corporate and securities matters, including IPOs, public offerings, strategic corporate relationships, SEC reporting and compliance and corporate governance. Over the past five years, Madison has advised over 25 IPOs and public offerings, with an aggregate value greater than $7.1 billion.
Ryan is president of Lockton’s Washington, DC, office. He is responsible for the ongoing stewardship of new and existing clients, new business development, and client retention. Ryan has extensive experience working with companies in the technology, government contracting, financial institution, life sciences and real estate industries.
