Dr. Ira Kalish is the Chief Global Economist of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd. He is a specialist in global economic issues as well as the effects of economic, demographic, and social trends on the global business environment. He has written about the economies of Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Mexico and South America, and has also written extensively on global consumer markets.
Dr. Kalish is the principal author and editor of Deloitte’s Weekly Global Economic Update. His additional publications include the annual Global Powers of Retailing report and articles in the CFO Journal and Deloitte Review, among others.
Dr. Kalish advises Deloitte clients as well as Deloitte’s leadership on economic issues and their impact on business strategy. He also serves on the Business at OECD Economic Policy Committee and the World Economic Forum’s Community of Chief Economists.

For the past two decades, Wolfe has concentrated his professional efforts on advising complex family-owned organizations and private equity portfolio companies. As a trusted advisor to his clients, Wolfe has led multi-disciplined engagement teams that provide a variety of tax and non-tax services around the areas of corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, IPO planning, finance transformation, tax compliance and tax controversies assistance.
Darin is a Tax Partner in the Business Tax Services Practice of Deloitte Tax LLP’s Minneapolis office. He is the leader of the Minneapolis office Private Company Practice, a group of approximately 35 tax professionals dedicated to serving the tax and business needs of privately-held, family-owned, growth-oriented businesses and their owners.
Mike is the Private Wealth Tax Practice Leader for the Western United States. In this role, he leads over 100 colleagues to develop and deliver innovative tax solutions related to the income, gift, and estate tax planning matters for Private Wealth clients. He began his career with Deloitte in 2008, and he works exclusively with individuals, families, and their family offices.
Kristin Bauer specializes in technical accounting at Deloitte’s National Office serving as a consultation resource to engagement teams serving a broad range of industries. She specializes in revenue recognition and leases and has extensive experience in current implementation efforts. In her current role, Ms. Bauer’s responsibilities include formulating firm policies and interpretative guidance on accounting standards for Deloitte professionals, clients, and other parties interested in financial reporting and in communicating with accounting standard setters and regulators.
Prior to rejoining Deloitte in 2014, Kristin was a Practice Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) from 2010 to 2014. During her time at the FASB, she led the FASB’s revenue recognition project team that developed the final revenue standard (ASU 2014-09, creating ASC 606 and IFRS 15). She was also a key contributor to the project team responsible for improving the financial reporting of leases, ultimately resulting in ASC 842 and IFRS 16.
Before her fellowship, Kristin served in various roles in Deloitte’s National Office. As a consultation resource, she assisted engagement teams with addressing issues related to restatements, assessments of materiality, management integrity, possible fraud and illegal acts and client continuance. Kristin started her career in Deloitte’s Chicago office and served clients in that market for 10 years. Immediately prior to joining National Office, she was the lead senior manager on the IPO and subsequent-year audit of a newly created carve-out entity. She concentrated on large, public multinational clients and addressed technical accounting matters including adoption of new accounting pronouncements, carve-outs, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Doug Rand is a member of the Accounting and Reporting Services group in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s national office. He consults on accounting and reporting matters, monitors standard-setting activities, and authors internal and external publications. He advises on disclosure effectiveness, recent SEC rulemaking, initial public offerings, registration statements, mergers, spins, periodic filings, and SEC comment letters. Prior to assuming his current role, Doug served a variety of public and nonpublic companies throughout the US and internationally as part of Deloitte’s audit practice.

Doug Van Dyke is Deloitte’s National Tax Legislative Marketplace leader and was previously the West regional leader for Tax Reform Advisory Services. Doug is also the West Region Marketplace leader, the national interactive gaming and esports affinity leader, and the West regional Media & Entertainment leader. He has nearly 30 years of experience with Deloitte’s clients in US and international taxation, including large multinational clients in the media, entertainment, aerospace and defense, and consumer business industries. Doug has also worked closely with companies in these industries on accounting for income taxes and, as they have expanded globally, exploiting their intellectual property and dealing with US and local jurisdictional tax issues, including transfer pricing.
Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the tax policy arena and is currently responsible for communicating emerging tax developments in the U.S. Congress, the Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department, and the federal courts to the Firm and its clients. Jeff oversees the content development of Tax News & Views as well as thought leadership publications on issues such as the US deficit and fundamental tax reform.
Shahira has more than 20 years of experience in government, public policy and government affairs. Prior to joining Deloitte, she held several senior leadership roles in government, including Director of White House Legislative Affairs, where she served as the top liaison between the White House and Congress, and Deputy Director of the White House National Economic Council, where she helped coordinate the administration’s domestic economic policy agenda. Shahira also served as the top policy advisor on the House Ways and Means Committee where she directed the committee’s policy and legislative operations.
Ken Udenze has over 30 years of experience in serving clients across a variety of industries. Ken has a strong background in leading the audits of multi-segment SEC registrants. He provides objective reviews of significant accounting, controls and financial reporting matters and offers perspectives on emerging trends and industry matters for management teams and audit committees of the Board of Directors.
Kristen B. Sullivan is a partner and leads Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Sustainability and ESG services, working with clients to help address their sustainability and non-financial disclosure strategy needs. Kristen also serves as the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited’s (DTTL) Americas Region Sustainability Services Leader, the Global Audit & Assurance Climate Services Leader and the Integrated Reporting Community of Practice Leader. Kristen brings extensive experience in delivering sustainability risk assessment, governance, strategy alignment, measurement, reporting and assurance services.
Given the growing market emphasis on the importance of ESG standards and frameworks, Kristen serves as a member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Community, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Assurance Task Force, the Sustainable Stock Exchange (SSE) Initiative Corporate Working Group, and serves as Chair of the AICPA Sustainability Task Force and member of the AICPA Materiality Task Force. She also served on the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) Working Group. Kristen has authored a number of publications around the value of sustainability and non-financial disclosure and assurance, including conflict minerals and anti-human trafficking disclosure.
She was recognized as #10 on the 2020 Top 100 Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Leaders.
Kristen has over 25 years of experience with Deloitte. Kristen is a CPA (CT, MO) and CGMA. Kristen completed the Berkeley Law Executive Education Certification: ESG: Navigating the Board’s Role. She began her career with Deloitte in the Audit and Advisory services practice. She has also served in Deloitte’s National Office in several different capacities and served in a role working with the deputy CEO of Deloitte LLP focusing on regulatory and public policy matters.
Kristen serves as a member of the Eureka College Board of Trustees and the Financial Women’s Association.
Brian is the US Deloitte Private Consulting leader and also leads Deloitte’s US Consulting Industrial Products & Construction Sector. In his two decades of experience, Brian has taken a personalized approach to building consulting practices, collaborating with clients, driving engagements and (above all) measuring value. He has a proven track record in global business development, operations/business strategy advisory and non-traditional approaches to creating client value. Brian is particularly experienced in industrial/consumer-related industries but has also worked across industries and sectors. Additionally, he is fascinated by the convergence of expertise, capability and technology in creating a new breed of integrated client solutions.
Mike is a managing director and chief futurist for Deloitte Consulting LLP, where he helps clients develop strategies to thrive in the face of discontinuity and disruption. Mike and his team research the novel and exponential technologies most likely to affect the future of our clients’ businesses and builds relationships with the enterprises, entrepreneurs, and research institutions creating them.
Kirsten is a Risk & Financial Advisory principal with Deloitte & Touche LLP and serves as the San Francisco Managing Principal. In this role she helps drive client and business growth, facilitates cross-functional teaming and further enhances Deloitte’s strategic positioning in the San Francisco market.
Kirsten is the “face of the firm” in San Francisco – strategically positioning Deloitte in the business community, leading corporate citizenship strategy, driving office culture and continuing to maintain her client service responsibilities.
She works with some of Deloitte’s most strategic technology and media clients, marrying her distinctive approach with the organization’s multi-disciplinary services in providing solutions to complex business issues. Kirsten brings her collaborative spirit along with expertise in technology as the Global Lead Client Services Principal for Salesforce and Anaplan. In this role, she provides a single point of contact for our clients, having overall responsibility for understanding their global business strategy, operations, industry market and challenges. Previously, she’s served in a comparable capacity for Cisco, Twitter, Agilent Technologies and Keysight Technologies.
Kirsten has spent her more than 29-year career in the Bay Area and has built a significant network amongst senior executives and board directors. She has strong ties to the local community and was recently appointed to the Cal Academy of Sciences’ Board of Trustees, also serving on their Executive Committee and as Audit Chair. Additionally, Kirsten currently sits on the executive board of the Bay Area Council, as well as having served as a board director for the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose for over a decade.
In 2018 Kirsten received the Jefferson Award for her ongoing commitment to public service, and previously served on the advisory board for the Jefferson Awards – Students in Action. She was recognized in 2017, 2016 and 2015 by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the Bay Area’s “Most Influential Women in Business” and received the 2014 YWCA Tribute to Women Award for her outstanding contributions.
Kirsten previously led Deloitte’s Inclusion (Diversity & Wellness) initiatives for the West Region. She still speaks on the topics of leadership, inclusion and unconscious bias, and has recently led discussions at Stanford’s Clayman Institute for Gender Research, Forte’, Watermark, Wilpower and the California Diversity Conference. Additionally, Kirsten led Deloitte’s relationship with The Representation Project and has consulted to many Fortune 500 companies on how to build, innovate and measure success of their respective diversity & inclusion programs, including Women’s initiatives.
Will is an Audit & Assurance partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice and offers more than 17 years of experience providing advisory and audit services to clients. He is the national SPAC execution group ARA leader and the Central region IPO services leader. He has extensive private equity experience including auditing and/or advising portfolio companies regarding public exit strategies. He has led numerous IPO engagements including reverse mergers, SPACs (special purpose acquisition companies), recapitalizations, Up-C Structures, predecessor accounting, and SEC pre-clearance filings. He is a certified public accountant in Texas and has a Master in Professional Accounting degree from the University of Texas.
Barrett is an Audit & Assurance partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP's Accounting and Reporting Advisory practice located in the Bay Area as well as the US IPO Services Co-Leader and the West Region SPAC Leader. For the better part of the last two decades, Barrett has been primarily focused on IPO and other transactional advisory services including serving well over 50 IPO and SPAC related engagements.
Barrett first joined Deloitte & Touche LLP when his firm, Nextstep Advisory Services LLC, an IPO advisory firm based in the Bay Area, was acquired by Deloitte & Touche LLP. Barrett has additional experience as a senior IPO services partner with a leading specialized advisory firm, chief financial officer of two Bay Area companies, director of accounting for a global cloud-based human capital management provider, and over two decades in public accounting.

Additionally, Kearns-Manolatos draws on almost 15 years of award-winning marketing communications expertise to align insights with business strategy. She speaks on technology and women in leadership and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Fordham University.
Ritesh, a senior manager in Deloitte’s Risk & Financial Advisory’s Cyber practice, draws on his experience in risk consulting, cloud technology, and database administration on high impact business applications to advise clients. Jamie has 13 years of accounting and financial reporting experience, which includes completing a two-year professional accounting fellowship in the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Office of the Chief Accountant.
She is currently a Chicago-based audit and assurance partner in Deloitte’s Accounting and Reporting Services group, within the firm’s national office. In this role, she assists attest and non-attest engagement teams nationwide with complex technical accounting issues, focusing on the accounting for financial instruments, share-based compensation, and leases.
During her SEC fellowship from 2018-2020, she worked closely with registrants, standard-setters, auditors, and other Commission staff regarding the application of accounting standards, with a focus on matters involving leasing, financial assets, derivatives, debt, equity, and digital assets/cryptocurrency.
Jamie is a CPA in Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jamie holds a BA in accounting from Ball State University.

Micaela Saviano is a Partner with Deloitte Tax LLP. Her clients include family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals, and closely-held businesses. She specializes in structuring family offices and investment partnerships, supporting clients through liquidity events, and estate planning and post-mortem administration.
Micaela also leads the Art & Finance group for Deloitte Tax. In this role she helps clients plan for and manage their fine art collections and identifies tax, audit, advisory, and consulting solutions for businesses in the art industry.

Chris serves as the Commercial Go-To-Market leader for Converge Industries and is the US technology leader for Deloitte Private within Deloitte Consulting, LLP. He’s responsible for Deloitte’s go-to-market approach across Converge Industries Hybrid Businesses and Consulting’s technology related services within the high growth and Private Company space. His expertise is in technology strategy, IT risk, early stage business start-up’s, business to technology alignment, alliance and ecosystem GTM strategy.
