Event Description

Join the Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) and Deloitte’s Higher Education and Future of Work practices for an engaging panel discussion with leaders from top universities to discuss how artificial intelligence is reshaping the higher education workforce and what institutions can do now to prepare.

As AI rapidly reshapes roles, skills, and expectations across campuses, colleges and universities face both disruption and opportunity. This session will explore how evolving AI capabilities are changing how work gets done and how institutions can strategically leverage these tools to strengthen faculty and staff effectiveness, improve job readiness, and build a more agile, resilient workforce.

Our experienced panelists will share frontline stories and actionable strategies for recruitment, retention, and workforce planning including attracting digitally fluent talent, upskilling current talent to optimize workflows, developing teams to collaborate alongside technology, and aligning workforce planning with long-term institutional goals. Whether you’re beginning your AI journey or seeking to accelerate transformation, this session will provide valuable perspectives and practical guidance to equip your institution for building the future of work in higher education.
