Barrett has deep expertise in IPO-related engagements having worked primarily in the field, and on 50+ S-1 and initial public offering engagements, over the past 15 years. Prior to Deloitte, Barrett served as the co-founder, CEO, and managing partner of Nextstep Advisory Services, LLC (acquired by Deloitte & Touche LLP in 2018), a leading provider of IPO and technical accounting services. He has additional experience as a senior IPO services partner with a leading specialized advisory firm, CFO of two Bay Area companies, director of accounting for a global cloud-based human capital management provider, and nearly a decade in public accounting. Barrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University and is a CPA in California.

May brings more than 13 years of professional audit and assurance experience serving emerging growth companies and large public and private enterprises. She has strong experience managing teams on multiple audit engagements, as well as advising clients through the IPO process, including confidential S-1 filings under the JOBS act through final prospectus to first 10-Q and 10-K, and secondary offerings. She also brings a deep knowledge of equity and debt financing transactions, business acquisitions, adoption of new accounting standards, AICPA to PCAOB conversion, Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls implementation, collaboration and revenue recognition, and stock compensation/409A matters.
Chris has more than 25 years of IPO and investor relations experience and has helped more than 125 companies go public. He was a founder of The Blueshirt Group 22 years ago. Prior to that, Chris was a Principal at Morgen-Walke Associates, where he ran the West Coast office. After graduating from Duke University, Chris spent two years working as scaffolder in Europe and Asia before joining Mallory Factor and The Equity Group in New York.
Prior to joining Nasdaq, Jack was a Vice President at GrowthPoint Technology Partners, a boutique investment bank that provides M&A and strategic advisory services to technology companies around the globe. Prior to joining GrowthPoint, Jack was a Director of Enterprise Sales for Reputation.com and a Financial Advisor in Morgan Stanley’s Private Bank.
Preceding his entry into the business world, Jack played Major League Baseball for the San Diego Padres and Houston Astros. While playing baseball, Jack also co-founded Players for the Planet – a non-profit organization that utilizes professional athletes to promote environmental awareness. He currently serves as a board member.
Jack holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and studied Communications at Loyola Marymount University.
Brad has extensive experience advising companies on all aspects of their compliance with US securities laws and the listing requirements of the major US exchanges, particularly in connection with and following their initial public offerings. He regularly counsels management, boards of directors and board committees on a wide range of matters, including SEC and stock exchange reporting and disclosure requirements, board and executive compensation, corporate governance, shareholder proposals, the impact of proxy advisory services, and responses to formal and informal SEC inquiries. His practice also involves advising companies on a range of matters relating to corporate aircraft and private plane use. Brad received his BS in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. In 2001, he received his JD from the University of Southern California Law School, where he was a member of the Southern California Law Review. Brad is admitted to practice in New York.
Franco joined Biomea Fusion as Chief Financial Officer in July 2021. He brings over 16 years of progressive experience in Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry, with public and private experience. Prior to joining us, Franco was with Graphite Bio as the Senior Vice President, Finance. Previously, he held finance and leadership positions at various biotechnology companies, including Eidos Therapeutics, Inc. where he served as Senior Vice President, Finance, Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc., as Controller, and Pharmacyclics, Inc. as Senior Director of Accounting. Franco began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked in the Life Science and Venture Capital Group. He received a BS in Corporate Finance from San Jose State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
